About Us

Begun in 2010, The Giggle Test seeks out anything worth a giggle or two. We hunt for bills making their way through Congress, developments and innovations businesses are implementing, policies enacted by schools and universities, deals happening in the entertainment and sports industries, and whatever else we can imagine. Once we’ve found something juicy, we take a step back and ask ourselves a seemingly simple question: does this pass the giggle test? It seems simple because, as you probably know, not everyone applies the giggle test to the decisions they make.

We feel it’s our civic duty (hence the Uncle Sam logo) to put decisions which affect people’s lives to The Giggle Test. On our blog, we give a grade on the post topic at hand: Pass or Fail. It passes The Giggle Test if we don’t giggle. We will also tweet any news bites which fail The Giggle Test.

Are you giggling yet?

We will try to make regular posts on throughout the week, including Saturdays. Our version of the comics section of a newspaper will be posted on Sundays: the Sunday Giggle. Occasionally, we will post special reports and breaking news, most likely on Mondays.

Currently, we remain anonymous, as our job positions are likely to be compromised by revealing our identities. We may be joke around on the rest of our blog, but we’re not kidding about this. If you have any questions about this policy, all you have to do is ask. Please contact us using the form on the Send Tips page. Because emailing us would cause us to reveal ourselves in our reply, we ask for the simple courtesy of not putting any of our personal information on your website or blog. We would never do that to you, so please don’t do that to us. You can read our privacy statement (we’re still adding the finishing touches) here. It is also linked in the footer.
